Ahhhh, sooo much has happened and no updates! Sorrryyy!! Well, lets see I moved out and now I'm a big girl with a part time job living with Aniyah and Michael and our roomates...paying rent and bills and such; I enrolled at MCC! Michael and I are taking classes for our Associates in General Business degree....super physced!! We both were able to get financial aid and all of our fees covered... perrrrrty lucky I'd say! AND my mom bought me a laptop to help me with school, since there is nothing to pay! YAY, Life is going so well even though I wish I had more money to spend here and there but hey thats life and as long as we're happy that's all that matters right?
Well, Aniyah who is now 11 months old is walking, running, talking (mama, dada, dress, shoe, papa, nana, no, more "or moe") (and much more to come!) She loves fishies and any electrical gadgets she can get her hands on. I think she is too smart for her age and on her first birthday I will probably cry! LOL. She's growing up sooo fast! "Welcome to motherhood, Paisley!"
Anyways, her first birthday is going to be here at the house and it's going to be a luau!!! SEE YA THERE!! Can't wait!!

Easter 2009

I think this year was the best Easter I've ever had. Me, Aniyah, and Michael hung celebrated Easter with my best friend Casie, Jesse, and their son Anthony. Casie and I became friends when we found out we were going to be pregnant at the same time. Our babies are a week apart... so we are pretty close now! :)
Here are some pictures from our day

Not much to say the last few weeks...
Times flyin. . . Life's getting a little rocky for me right now but I keep telling myself everything happens for a reason. Besides me being stressed out, Aniyah is getting big! Well, older and stronger! Still weighing 16lbs she now pulls herself to stand up on the couch or what we call furniture surfing! And when I hold her and want her to sleep I tell her "lovvveee lovveee" very softly and she copies me! I love it and its the greatest feeling in the world. She's my best friend and the only one that keeps me smiling and happy day to day.
Keep smiling Pais!

R.I.P Jewels...
Oh mannn our poor doggy... well, we took her to the doctor yesterday becuase she had been whinning and just hiding out in the laundry room and she wasnt keeping anything down. She usually does something like this every month or so when she just goes and hides out (minus the throwing up and whinning) we always thought she just ate something crazy and she would get over it in a day or two like every time. This had barely happened last week so it was closer than a months time and my mom took her to the vet, they said she was dehydrated & they can give her some fluids and anti vommitt meds and see if that would help OR we could admit her to the hospital, run tests and hook her up to an IV for fluids which would cost a couple thousand. so we had to go with our first option which we could barely afford. Well, it didnt help, as a matter a fact this morning she was worse. My mom said she was laying down basically in a comittos state of shock not responding to anything or anybody and had just vommitted black. She called the vet and they told her to come right away. When the doctos saw her they knew right away. Again they said either hospitalize her at the cost and thought that they might not find an answer or put her to sleep... my mom had been preparing for it and knew thats what they had to do. My dad stayed in the room to watch and my mom left. After they put her to sleep they felt around in her belly and said they felt a tumor. I've never seen my dad cry and this time he was balling... that was his best friend ya kno and theres gonna be alot of habits we have to unfamiliarize our selves with. I feel so bad for my dad and we have all had a pretty sad day..it sucks and it happend so fast ya kno something we didnt even have time to prepare for and never thought would happen.I'm crushed - I've never been so upset in my life.. I wish I could just see her running around the house barking at shadows again :(

Shhh don't tell the doctor :)

Aniyah's Birth Has A Purpose
Not only is she the most delightful baby girl around but she can up anyones spirit just at the sound of her voice. With my great grandma passing my aunt (her daughter) has came to our house a few nights for dinner to just get out of the house, since she took care of my grandma there up until the time she passed away. Aniyah always brightened my aunts day. I felt so bad for my aunt and I'm sure she has a lot of stress so Aniyah making her laugh and smile just made me feel so special inside. She helps her take her mind off of the pain and help her heal. Last night my aunt called telling my mom how thankful she was for Aniyah. She said how that was the reason Aniyah was born and that she loved her so much. Just the feeling of her feeling good makes me happy. I knew Aniyah was made for a reason :)
My Great Grandma Mary
My great grandma passed away a few days ago. She had just hit her 84th birthday. She was such a strong woman. We all knew it was time for her to leave us although her spirit is still here. I feel bad because she never met Aniyah but I tell her all about her through prayers. The funeral is on Wednesday March 4th 2009. This will be my second funeral but one that I will remember fully. The first funeral I went to was my moms father (my grandpa Jim) but I was small so I don't remember much, only the vase with his ashes in it... He was creamated and his ashes were thrown into the ocean.
Anyways I am a strong believer of the phrase "everything happens for a reason"
This is because my family has become SO much stronger in the past few days. It had been over a year since I saw my aunts and they are just so delighted to be around us. At the funeral, I will see so much of my family and it may sound bad to say but I am kind of excited. I haven't seen my nana and papa in over a year, let alone they have NEVER seen my daughter in her 6 months of life. That all wraps of the phrase that I believe in, things with my family just seem to be getting better by the day. At the funeral Grandma Mary didnt want us to wear black, she didnt want us to be sad, her favorite color was blue so we are all going to wear color. I love you great grandma and now we know what you were waiting for... our family to become closer. I love you.
Next, I know she's here with us.
My aunt Evie has been staying at my house for two weeks now and the night my great grandma passed something crazy happened. Everytime someone said "oh weird things happen and I know its so and so (whoever had passed away) giving us a sign" I never believed them.
Well, my great grandma gave us a sign and I am POSITIVE it was her. My aunt stays in the loft of my house. She was laying to go to bed late that night Grandma Mary passed... She turned off the lights and turned the fan on low. I had to run downstairs to get something for Aniyah and as I was passing the loft the light came on. My aunt turned around and said "did that light really just turn on?" I said yeah and turned it off thinking it was nothing. Next thing you know I was going to my brothers room to say goodnight which is just a few feet passed the loft and what do you know the light turns on AGAIN and the fan is at full blast. At that point all of us were at shock at the thought that it was my great grandma. Nothing like that has ever happened to me. Aunt Evie said she's telling us she made it to heaven... I know its true and I know it was her. That made us sleep alot better that night. Again I love you Grandma Mary!

My Valentine's Day Weekend
So this is me and Michael's third Valentines together as a couple and I think this year beats all. We went shopping all day, thanks to a little tax money ;). We also found our new favorite restaurant-Texas Roadhouse... Love that place! I loved their potato skins and chicken strips and frys. Oh and the strawberry lemonade was pretty good too. All in all it was an awesome weekend and I'm soooo shopped out I dont wanna see another mall for at least two months.. LOL! It feels good because I finally spent some money on myself. I bought two pairs of shoes, some jeans and a bunch of shirts. Can't wait to show off all my new clothes :)

College College College...
I didn't know everything having to deal with college would be so much work. At first, I wanted to be an RN... well as I'm working in my doctors office I watched what the nurse practioners do and thought more into what I REALLY wanted to do. I made up my mind and what I want to go to college for has nothing to do with health care. I want to be an accountant. I am good with math and have strong analytical skills. Well, now that I've chosen what I want to be I have to decide which college I want to go to...And I want to do it all online, or most of it. I looked up schools and found interests in Devry University and University of Phoenix...called around and found out that Devry is a private school NOT ran by the state, therefore, that makes it much more expensive AND you can't get grants or financial aid by the government. Now that is probably the only way I am going to be able to go to school. So never mind on Devry.
I talked with my aunt at UOP and she made me feel a lot better. I can get my associates in about 1 1/2 years all online....sounds like a great idea. Plus, I can get grants and things like that and she said that I could get most of my college paid for by that. I guess being a teen mom does pay off in a way because that's the only way that makes me completely eligible. So, now I have to fill out my FAFSA form and send it in! Wish me luck! I'm excited!
*Oh, and Aniyah turns 5 months next Tuesday !!! [2/2/09] Time Flies and it's scary!

So who's the father you ask
I know I don't talk about Aniyah's dad too much, but we do get along and we do work things out, things are just a little bumpy right now. We first met my freshman year of high school. A school girl crush turned into so much more. June 16, 2006 we got together. I was the most shy girl he probably has ever met.
Michael Fajardo, a trouble maker on the outside but a softy on the inside. Michael didn't have the best grades or the best reputation but I saw beyond that. He had never had a long time relationship and either had I, we were high schoolers of course, but as things went on we grew closer and closer, learning the meaning of committment. He was becoming a better guy and was learning what he wanted in life. My parents were liking him more and more and he was becoming a part of the family. Here are a few pictures of our first couple years together...Schnepf Farms 2007

My Four Month Old Monster
Aniyah is the biggest giggle monster I know. I swear this child knows when somethings funny. I think she gets her crazy funny personality from her daddy. She weighs 14 pounds even and her favorite food is squash! Yucky! The doctor said we can put her on solids now. Stage one and veggies only...even though I have to say she has tried applesauce, ooops! She doesn't like rice cereal-I guess she's too good for that! LOL. Also, one of her biggest attributes is her hair! She has SO much of it and it hasn't stopped growing since she was born. It's always a big mess but it goes along with her personality :)

Another thing, she is extremely nosy and loves cell phones! That's my girl! Aniyah does sleep ALL through the night believe it or not, and my mom tells me everyday how lucky I am for her to be doing that. She rolls over all the time so we really have to watch her. I think she thinks its a game.
Oh my goodness and how could I forget! Christmas just passed! It was her first Christmas! (obviously) I'd love to say she enjoyed it...but she was asleep the WHOLE morning we opened presents. I tried to wake her up but she just fell back asleep right after that.
Christmas Eve was fun. Lots of family and she looked super cute in the dress her mimi bought her. *Her mimi is her grandma=My mommy*
I took this picture below a little before Christmas. It's my favorite because she looks just like me when I was a baby. When I find a way to get my baby picture on here I will.
Aniyah at Two and Three Months!
It's truly amazing how fast babies change. Aniyah just becomes a funnier baby by the day! She's drinking a little more, sleeping a little more and she even rolled over in her sleep! Scaryyy!
Its Her First Halloween!! October 31, 2008
My lovely pumpkin I was so proud of, even though it only lasted a couple of days :(
