Easter 2009

I think this year was the best Easter I've ever had. Me, Aniyah, and Michael hung celebrated Easter with my best friend Casie, Jesse, and their son Anthony. Casie and I became friends when we found out we were going to be pregnant at the same time. Our babies are a week apart... so we are pretty close now! :)

Here are some pictures from our day

Not much to say the last few weeks...

Times flyin. . . Life's getting a little rocky for me right now but I keep telling myself everything happens for a reason. Besides me being stressed out, Aniyah is getting big! Well, older and stronger! Still weighing 16lbs she now pulls herself to stand up on the couch or what we call furniture surfing! And when I hold her and want her to sleep I tell her "lovvveee lovveee" very softly and she copies me! I love it and its the greatest feeling in the world. She's my best friend and the only one that keeps me smiling and happy day to day.

Keep smiling Pais!

R.I.P Jewels...

Oh mannn our poor doggy... well, we took her to the doctor yesterday becuase she had been whinning and just hiding out in the laundry room and she wasnt keeping anything down. She usually does something like this every month or so when she just goes and hides out (minus the throwing up and whinning) we always thought she just ate something crazy and she would get over it in a day or two like every time. This had barely happened last week so it was closer than a months time and my mom took her to the vet, they said she was dehydrated & they can give her some fluids and anti vommitt meds and see if that would help OR we could admit her to the hospital, run tests and hook her up to an IV for fluids which would cost a couple thousand. so we had to go with our first option which we could barely afford. Well, it didnt help, as a matter a fact this morning she was worse. My mom said she was laying down basically in a comittos state of shock not responding to anything or anybody and had just vommitted black. She called the vet and they told her to come right away. When the doctos saw her they knew right away. Again they said either hospitalize her at the cost and thought that they might not find an answer or put her to sleep... my mom had been preparing for it and knew thats what they had to do. My dad stayed in the room to watch and my mom left. After they put her to sleep they felt around in her belly and said they felt a tumor. I've never seen my dad cry and this time he was balling... that was his best friend ya kno and theres gonna be alot of habits we have to unfamiliarize our selves with. I feel so bad for my dad and we have all had a pretty sad day..it sucks and it happend so fast ya kno something we didnt even have time to prepare for and never thought would happen.I'm crushed - I've never been so upset in my life.. I wish I could just see her running around the house barking at shadows again :(

Aniyah's 6 Month Update!

So we went to the doctor this morning and Aniyah weighs 16 pounds and is 26 inches long! She's in the 90th percentile for her length but we already knew that because mommy is tall too!As for her weight she is right where she is supposed to be :) Doctor said she can eat anything now as table food goes...but we've already been giving her frozen waffles which she loves! Shhh don't tell the doctor :)

Aniyah's Birth Has A Purpose

Not only is she the most delightful baby girl around but she can up anyones spirit just at the sound of her voice. With my great grandma passing my aunt (her daughter) has came to our house a few nights for dinner to just get out of the house, since she took care of my grandma there up until the time she passed away. Aniyah always brightened my aunts day. I felt so bad for my aunt and I'm sure she has a lot of stress so Aniyah making her laugh and smile just made me feel so special inside. She helps her take her mind off of the pain and help her heal. Last night my aunt called telling my mom how thankful she was for Aniyah. She said how that was the reason Aniyah was born and that she loved her so much. Just the feeling of her feeling good makes me happy. I knew Aniyah was made for a reason :)
